Job Requirements
This position consists of managing the overall Media strategy relative to Clients business across the Region. This function includes completing daily tasks on core pieces-of-business, as well as developing and overseeing the implementation of long-term Media strategies, and providing strategic direction to Media Planners and assistant Media Planners while maintaining day-to-day planning responsibilities.
The Media Supervisor will also supervise all the activities of the Media Planner(s) and/or Assistant Media Planner(s) under his or her charge.
Specific Duties:
Assist in overall Media strategy development
Assist AMD and/or Director of Media Planning as needed
Participates in Client presentations/TDA and BOD meetings, including having the R on all Media-related presentation materials (ie: slides)
Organize and manage workflow of Planner(s) and Assistant Planner(s) in order to fulfill all Media planning, analysis and scheduling requests
Responsible for the development and implementation of all Media plans
Develop Media Points of View as needed based on Client and Account team requests
Develop and actualize flowcharts and all related documents (i.e.: media budgets, post-buy-analyses, value-added reports, other)
Responsible for annual up-front media buy authorizations/implementation and monitoring of all Media plans/buys throughout year
Negotiate with Media vendors and provide recommendations
Coordinate Media information with appropriate departments
Maintain positive working relationship with Media vendors
Manage agency relationship with Zenith Media as it pertains to day-to-day activities
Job Requirements:
Supervision:
The Media Supervisor will be expected to develop a positive relationship with each of his/her subordinates, as well as provide proper and adequate training and supervision for each.
The position will require the Media Supervisor to build and maintain solid relations and work effectively with personnel in other Agency departments to achieve optimal results (Media, Traffic, Planning, and Finance).
Experience & Training:
Significant advertising agency experience is a must, as the job requires a thorough competence in advertising principles and agency functions (Media, creative, production, traffic, financial, billing, etc.).
An understanding of integrated communications is also required in order to effectively manage the account.
Prior experience in the retail advertising is required; prior experience in automotive category is a plus, but not required.

Must have good ability to properly oversee delegated tasks
